There are a number of things you can do to help avoid some annoying 'outside' interactions...
– In your game, you can go to "Options Menu > Game Options > Game Play > Maximum Sims Count" and check that your 'max capacity' of sims for your game is set to the same number of combined played and non-played sims in your game. If you do this, I think if you make/edit any more sims (or get pregnant, etc.) the game will randomly delete sims from the unplayed household to make room for the new played one. Played are higher priority. Unplayed = expendable crewmen.
– If you move everyone you have made to your 'played households' (give them a 'heart' in 'Manage Households' and it will move them to your played households. The game won't mess with your played households - won't remove/overwrite them). I believe by default if you make any edit to a households/household member, the household is automatically moved to your 'played households'.
– You can fence your yard and have a gate and lock the gate. Alternately you can just lock the doors. Most other sims don't bother you in the yard if you're not friends, and sims should not be able to just walk into your home without you letting them in or calling them in, as far as I know, unless they are to a certain level of friendship (or have a 'key'). But... if you're having an issue with this, lock the door to non-employees (so the maid can still get in).
– They will chat with others when not at home (work, school). Unless you make them have no autonomy they will go out and about when you're doing stuff elsewhere, also. I'm not 100% sure everyone from work/school comes only from the households in your 'Manage Households' area (I've never played quite that controlled), but if not, just monitor their 'friends' and if someone turns up there that you don't want, you can try 'hunting them down' in the 'Manage Households' gallery and delete them.
– If all else fails, if the sim is in their phone, you could have them hang out or invite them over and control the interaction and have your sim do 'mean' interactions to them until they have a really negative friendship/relationship. Once it gets negative enough you even get more options like insulting them (call their mama a Llama, etc.), fight them, etc.. That sim should not be one they want to interact with after that, or at least not for a good, long while.
– You can remove their autonomy. This will stop some interactions that you have not orchestrated (as mentioned above).
Hope this helps some. I'll add more info if more comes to mind, but these things are a good start.

@JenessaOomZ, I was going to suggest two things that @SheriGR mentioned :eahigh_file: since they are simple: Lock all your doors and gates and/or turn off autonomy (free will), This will allow you to have a higher level of control over your Sims and you can always turn it back on if you want to! I would try one or both of these first, and then if you don't like the results you can then try the things in the Options Menu and/or Manage Households that @SheriGR also mentioned! 😎
But there is one more simple thing you can try: There is a lot trait called Private Dwelling that says it "deters all but the most determined visitors"! That might help you also! 😉
If any of us think of any more suggestions, we will tell you! Best of luck! 🥳

Just a heads up, Locking door, and/or turning it into a private dwelling do now work.
