With cutaway view you can always see the opposite wall and what is on it without things on the closest wall obstructing your view only in walls down view will all walls be invisible. and if you need to see what is on the closest wall it is very easy to rotate the view. You write that there are many benefits from having your view partially obstructed. Could you name just one?
@jpkarlsen "With cutaway view you can always see the opposite wall"
Not for walls of inner rooms, and that is exactly the issue.
For any room in the middle of a house with rooms around it in all directions, cutaway works exactly like walls down view, so the ONLY way to see what is on any of their walls is by using walls up view, and that is a HUGE issue for me. It might not be for you, but it is for me.
And I already mentioned, I like to see what is on my walls even if the walls are down to see if the decoration is aligning with furniture I'm placing without having to raise my walls or move my camera to see said decoration.
Having those floating objects obstructing your view bothers you? Great, don't do this then.
But I do want them and not having those floating objects bothers me.
So the fact that you consider said obstruction of your view bad should NOT be a reason for why I should not have a method, be it from editing game files or a cheat, to see those floating objects as visible even if the walls are invisible.
I'm not requesting EA to make that a standard for the game, I'm asking for a method for those of us that might wish to see objects on the wall at all times to have it as an option.

As far as I know there is no way to do what you want.
