How to Edit Apartment Lobbies?

A bit of an odd one, but is it possible to edit the lobby/hallways of apartments from City Living? I’m currently redoing all the lots in San Myshuno and, well, the lobbies are looking rough. I also wouldn’t mind tweaking the floorplans a little to make them a little neater and nicer looking.

Google revealed a lot of out-of-date responses as things are possible you couldn’t do before.

    I am not sure about any cheats that might let you, but other than that there isn't a way to edit them.   I wish there was.

    Not without mods, like the tool mod. You can only edit each apartment individually. The only change from when City Living orginally released is that you can now edit with different windows and the window placements, the other restrictions are still the same. The lobby has never been able to be edited.
