How to reinstall a pack?
I did a lot of search and google for this topic and I'm sorry if this already exists, I haven't found anything.
I got Laundry Day a while ago and as I was new, I thought I had to remove it from my game as the washing mashine kept breaking and my gameplay was 90% picking up laundry and washing. Then someone told me I just didn't have to build washing machines and there would be no laundry. I thought about reinstalling the pack but then there was an update, and all of a sudden Laundry day was back with all its items. So far so good.
Two days ago when I started the game, Origin had some kind of hiccup which went very fast and I was distracted, and I got the message that some of my content isn't installed and it would be taken care of. Thing is, it wasn't taken care of and Laundry day is missing together with all its items. When I hover over the pack in my library buildings, the message says I just have to restart the game and it will be fine. Doesn't work.
I also followed the advice to show game info in Origin and look at all the packs. There I get all the packs that I already own offered for sale. Laundry Day is not on any list.
So Laundry Day does not reinstall when I restart the game and I have no clue how to do it. Any help greatly appreciated.
@Lailantie If the pack does not re-appear when you restart the game please do a game repair. Let us know if this is resolved then. Thanks!
How to run a game repair:
Spoiler• Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game
• If you’re on PC, make sure to let it run until it has completed all repairs (it will do the base game first, then run through each of your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs and Stuff Packs).
• If you’re on Mac, the repair in Origin will only repair your base game. Learn why and how to repair your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs and Stuff Packs) at this link: https://bluebellflora.com/2020/06/17/repairing-sims-4-packs-in-origin/
