Hysterical mood achieved with only 10 Playful points

Just turn all that silly emotional death mess off with MCCC or that will be your entire game trying to keep them alive.   Every time any of my many sims across multiple saves puts on a clean shirt, they go hysterical.  every.  single.  time.

Teens don't die from being hysterical, it's only the YAs and up. I did turn off emotional deaths via MCCC after I finally experienced this death, not once but twice in the same few game minutes.  Yeah, my one Sim, who was throwing his very first charity event, lost his brother-in-law, followed closely by his only sister. I tried to play it forward, but things just went from bad to worse for the young Global Superstar.
