I’m stuck!

Help! Now this might be a stupid fix, but my wife bought Sims 4 since we are stuck in the house and she has a problem. Her sim is stuck in a room! There’s a door. The sim isn’t frozen. But the floor doesn’t seem to be completely to the ground. There’s like a huge step up so that’s stopping the sim from leaving the room. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? Even the sledge hammer won’t delete it.

  • Here’s a picture. It’s probably something so dumb, but we’re new to sims.

@justinmh15 Lol it sounds like you accidentally figured out how to create a split-level house! xD Yeah no worries, the first few times you play Sims 4 it's mostly about just trying to figure out how things work anyway. When you are in Build Mode and you click on a room you will see a white arrow that will allow you to raise or lower the floor level for that room. The lowest setting is completely flat/no foundation, so you can make all of your rooms at that level if you wish.

Here is a link to a Sims 4 Build Guide if you really get bored and feel like doing some reading ;-D

  • @justinmh15 Actually, I like the look of it! Just need to shrink the sunken area around the living room and put short stairs around.

Gonna have to try that myself.
