I can’t enter my rental properties

I have a 2022 MacBook Air and I have sims 4 and I just got the rental expansion pack and I can’t enter any of my rental properties or serve notices. I can’t enter their buildings. It gives me the bubble over my sim like I’m asking her to enter a room with no door or whatever. I have never used mods. Only the money and mood cheat. Someone please help.

    @lizzyalyson 

    You need to knock on the door to gain entry. If you have done this you need to describe exactly what happens when you try to knock on the door.

    Notices are done through the rental interface at the bottom right.
