I cant make nectar

My mistake ☹️ that was a mod for the books she was reading 😳 Might just be that I need the items but either way its bad that they didn't add skill books with Horse Ranch.

I am having the same issue with the apples. My sim had up to 49 apples in her inventory, yet she could only make grape nectar.

wish you'd say what u did to get it to work. im having a similar issue!

It sounds like @pyratdame got more apples. The post reads, "It was definitely not having the correct amount of apples."

If you have all the ingredients but the nectar is still grayed out, then you need more skill. You can get more skill by making lower skill nectars. 

If your skill is high enough but the nectar is still grayed out, then you don't have all the ingredients, so collect more ingredients. 

It should be easy to tell which one is the problem and solve it. For instance, in crinrict's first picture, the character can't make Potato Nectar because she doesn't have any potatoes and she can't make Prairie Grass or Trash Nectar because she doesn't have enough skill. 

Apples and grapes are both Fall crops, if you have Seasons, but apples are easy to obtain even when they're out of season. You can buy them on your phone (Shopping/Purchase Gifts) or computer (Order/Purchase Gifts). I would recommend buying one and planting it, even if it's out of season. Move the tree underneath a roof, or build a roof over it, so it's Sheltered. That way, it should produce a harvest even when it's out of season.
