@Zasz_Zerg wrote:Whats the response we got for years? Edit a file for the camera settings. Players should not edit a game file for improvement. Especially since its usually against the TOS to do that. And unless we enable write protection on that particular file, it tends to reset with each patch.
Editing the file you need to change to improve your camera experience is not against the ToS and is very simple and easy to do. There are numerous posts online helping and recommending settings from other users. I personally would never lock the file in question, I think it's the VideoCamera.ini file, but simply make a copy before patching the game so I can replace it quickly and efficiently.
It's great that we can fiddle with the camera settings so much, that they are easily accessible, as it means we can tailor the camera to our own personal preference. I would encourage all regular players to do so to improve their game experience.

Its irrelevant if its simple & easy. Its not an actual solution to the problem I described. Its irrelevant that we can edit the file. We shouldnt need to. I dont need to do this in other building simulators. Its working perfectly there. But not here. Thats the problem!
I can easily access a broken glass on the floor too. But that doesnt change the fact that its shattered into a dozen pieces. Im asking for a better glass that doesnt shatter so easily and you are telling me the broken one is easy to access. How is that helpful in any way?

It's personal preference based on gameplay style and experience. The camera may not work for you but it doesn't mean it must be changed because you don't like it. You're providing feedback, not speaking for every single player.
And in the context it is totally relevant as to how easy it is to change. Some of us like to personalise our simming experience by editing the camera and graphics files, like an extended version of the in-game options. I get annoyed when other building simulators don't let me edit files.- Zasz_Zerg2 years agoRising Ace

False. Guides how to edit the unintuitive camera file nor the file itself are not easy to find or edit.
I didnt say "ewww, I dont like it", I described a problem and the problem from the half-baked "solution" people know about. So that was a clear lie from you.
Yes, Im providing feedback. About a problem you obviously dont understand because you cant adress it. I never pretended or suggested to speak for every single player. A clear false and irrelevant implication from you.
I never suggested to completely prevent players from customizing the OTHER settings that arent an issue. So another false claim by you because you dont understand the problem.
Other games dont need these changes because they have superior camera settings by default.
When you cant adress or remotely understand the problem, stay away and troll someone else. Having hero status doesnt excuse your behavior.
