Is there a way to recover progress from cas if my computer crashed

So I spent many hours(over 24) in CAS perfectly editing a family. I exited CAS so I can save and while in the load phase my computer crashed. Is there a method to recover any unsaved progress? I wish...

No, it's saved as a temporary file.

In the future though - just make basic adjustments of how you want them to look.

Load in game.

Save.

Then 

testingcheats true

cas.fulleditmode

then shift right click on steam -> edit in cas

that way your game not only saves you can keep continue editing your sims after it saves
