Issues with the hospital

I am having a problem where when my sims go to the hospital to have a baby, they work fine but all the doctors change to their doctor uniforms outside of the hospital, walk into the hospital, change back to normal clothes, and then walk back out, making it impossible to have a baby at the hospital. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

    It seems likely to me that the hospital does a shift change when you arrive and you'll just have to wait for the next set of medical staff.  I've seen the same sort of thing from bartenders quite often. It usually doesn't take very long for the next bartender to show up and it hopefully won't take long for another doctor, either.
