Items from packs/expansions I already purchased being taken away...

I am very UNHAPPY with you (EA).  I used to be very excited about the Sims4 and truly enjoyed playing. But, several times, I have found that items that were in packs/expansions I've already purchased have been removed from availability just so you could place them in new packs/expansions/kits that have to be purchased.  The latest example is tents.  They are no longer available for me to use because you made a new kit/pack.  I already had access to those items (and others that you have done the same thing with) and removing those items IS THEFT. I want you to RETURN all the items I had access to from what I already purchased.  I cannot believe this!!! I never thought that you would become so greedy as to do this to your customers. I AM NOT GOING TO PURCHASE WHAT I ALREADY HAD ACCESS TO JUST TO FILL YOUR POCKETS!!! I am seriously considering reporting you for this. REMOVING ITEMS FROM ALREADY PURCHASED CONTENT AND PLACING THEM IN NEW PACKS IS, AGAIN, THEFT AND SO VERY WRONG!!!  FIX THIS NOW OR REFUND ME THE PURCHASE PRICE OF ALL THE EXPANSIONS/PACKS I HAVE BOUGHT.

    @Electronshadows 

    Base game items are never removed and moved to packs likewise items from a pack is never removed a few items in packs have been moved to base game but that would still mean that you have them- The latest example of that is wolfsbane (a plant). Packs may introduce new versions of an Item but that is it. 

    You mention tents which were never base game but came with the expansion Outdoor retreat. If you own that pack you will still have the two tents that came with it.

    If there are items that you feel are missing you should specify which items and where you think they should be so we can help clear up any confusions you may have or if they are missing from your game help you repair your game.

    You should list what expansions you own and the items you think should be there.

    The expansions I own are Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Seasons and Cats and Dogs, as well as the game pack Journey to Batuu.

    I have a build from Sept of 2021, which used only base game, Journey to Batuu, and Grim's Ghoulish guitar.  In the back yard is a tent that I placed there (it is not the tent from Journey to Batuu). And another build from Oct of 2021 that has a tent in it and is only base game and Holiday celebration pack

    The tents were located in one of those packs, which it would show in the build which pack it is from (and it doesn't). Or they came from base game, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to use them in my builds. There were many colors available and a couple of different styles of tent.

    When I went to make a campground build yesterday, I found that now the only tent available is the one from tha Batuu pack.

    I've only ever downloaded 2 custom content, one being a camper kit, and the other was glass walls.

    You tell me where the tents came from, AND where they went.

    Hi, @Electronshadows 

    The tents are from Outdoor Retreat. They were temporarily patched into the game for the Sims Sessions event last summer, but were patched back out, possibly because (irony) people who had purchased Outdoor Retreat were angry that content they’d purchased had been patched in for free.

     I hear that if you go to the gallery, some folks have uploaded the tents and other Sims Sessions items there.  It might be worth a look.
