Just some ideas...
Build/Buy:
Off the grid item for writing skill and writing books like an actual typewriter or a journal in the Base Game. I just find it ridiculous that in order to practice writing or to write a book you have to have a computer.
More already existing decorative objects should be made able to sit on mounted shelves. If things like the "Viney League Encased Scrolls", "Ceramic Cookie Jar", Caress Pitcher", "Pro-Quality Knife Block Set", "Spice of Life Spice Rack" can fit on the shelf, I don't know why things like the "RAW Antique Teapot", "Caress Scented Candles", "Shake You Holiday Shakers", "Mega Couple of Books" can't.
"Light Box Window" could be more versatile where you can seamlessly "stack" them like how you can place them side-by-side. (Similar to how you can place the "Energy King" like blocks.)
A simple square column in Base Game that is similar to the "Experienced Pillar" in Get Together. The wallpapers that try to auto place columns is horrible.
Foundations, stairs, floor tiling, wallpapers, chimneys and terrain paint all have matching swatches where it makes sense. A fine example would be the lack of a consistent brick swatch across the board. It would be nice if a brick chimney has a brick wallpaper, flooring, stairs, foundation and terrain paint that match it.
Terrain paint could also be extended upon in terms of world surroundings. So many lots are hard to blend with the surrounding environment due to not having a grass, sand, dirt, pavement or concrete swatch that matches the area touching the outside of the lot grid.
CAS:
Undershirt Category. It would work similar to how the Leggings category works. Certain already existing tank tops/sleeveless shirts that look like camisoles could go there. The chest binder could go there.
Random Townies:
Make more/better use of the "Styled Looks" and have the randoms that spawn wear one of those instead of looking like they got lost in their wardrobe, tangled up in their accessories and tumbled on out their front door without checking their mirror.
Collectibles:
There are only a few specific shelving or display cases that you can put collectibles in and they slot in order. The elements collection has its display rack, the sugar skulls have a nice small shadow box case that they all fit in perfectly, Strangerville has the display case for medals, the Werewolves collectibles has its shelf-like stand and those really help save up space.
So could there be shelving the fits and slots the other collectibles neatly? A display case that resembles a bookcase to put the frogs in would save a whole lot more room than a ton of tables that fit about five atriums at best.
Other cases specifically for the MySims Trophies, crystals and metals? Maybe a shadow box item that you can "hang" fossils - kind of like how the feathers in Cats & Dogs work. A small shadow box case similar to the one for keeping sugar skulls in that slots and fits the decorative eggs collection perfectly would be nice.
The same for expansion packs would be nice as well.
Small shadow box cases similar to the one for keeping sugar skulls in slots that fits the amount perfectly would be nice for the City Living snow globe collection perfectly would be nice.
A small display case to hold all the Sulani seashells neatly would be good.
A bookcase display similar to the idea for the frogs would be good for the Outdoor Retreat insect collection to fit in perfectly in.
The Jungle Adventure treasures could have a better display case that can be filled with more items and keep types of items separated where the frogs are with the frogs, the plates are with the plates and so forth.
Recipe Menu:
The growth of recipes is making the single list a bit overwhelming in terms of loading and just finding things. Maybe there could be more categories to create shorter lists? They could be by type of meal: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack/quick meal. They could be by course: Appetizers, main dishes, desserts.
