Male sims with cutom genders have no romance options?

I just started up my game after the latest update and for some reason my male sim that uses the toilet sitting has no romance socialization options for any other sim? So far I have already tried removing all my mods, trying a new save, repairing the game, testing with different male sims, and removing my sims 4 folder from my documents folder and starting fresh but still nothing has fixed it. this also ONLY occurs with male sims with the "no toilet use standing" option in the custom gender settings, my male sims with the default gender options has the romance bar still intact

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there any way to fix it?

    HI ls2591908 

    if you change the option, does this Sim then have their interactions ? To be sure, it happens for all the Sims you tested as long as they have that option ?

    Tested this with a new Sim and it works fine for me.

    I tested again and it seems like the issue was affecting ALL sims, regardless of gender. The only interactions were the friendly, funny, and mean introductions, but after introducing any of my sims to another sim, then romance options become available. I guess whatever is happening only affects the flirty interaction?

    Yes. any options after introducing my sims are still visible. it also seems after leveling up charisma a bit the flirty option becomes available again. im not sure if this is a bug or a new change because until recently i remember the flirty introduction being available regardless of skill level.

    is the Sim in a flirty mood ? I think it only shows up when flirty. Do you have Lovestruck ? There's a romantic introduction with that.

    If it only shows up when my sims flirty that would make sense. I just have the base game for now
