menu doesn't show up when clicking fridge, oven or computer

i play on pc and i've been having this issue for a while, i use mods but i tested it without mods and the issue still occurs even with no mods.  when i click on a fridge, computer or oven no menu wi...

i tried this method but it didn't work for me. i was so overwhelmed that i uninstalled the whole game and then reinstalled it, and it fixed the issue! i tested it in a new save, the one i was already testing things in, and a very old one, and they were all working. 

i'll try to activate mods and see if anything is conflicting or if it's okay now, but thank you for you help!
