@m3lkx Actually, there was initially a bit of confusion about how the update was worded in the patch notes on 7/20/2021, but there was a correction posted by EA on 7/27/2021 as follows:
"Before telling you about the bug fixes we made in this update, I wanted to mention that in the last patch notes there was a slight mistake when referring to the improvements for Gallery and downloading a lot made with the bb.moveobjects cheat. For players, it actually means that you don't need to manually activate the cheat prior to placing a lot from the Gallery for the objects to be exactly where the creator put them. Sorry for the confusion!"
So... this means that you don't have to activate MOO yourself while placing any more. The game automatically keeps everything where it was placed originally, via MOO, alt or snapping. The warning is more for a 'heads up' that MOO was active when this lot was made which means the player should be aware of this in case something is not properly accessible by their Sims (for instance, if a lot was not properly playtested before placing it in the gallery).

I’m having the same issue as the original post. However when I place builds even without having MOO on , some objects in the build go missing upon being placed. That includes furniture and wallpaper going missing and I know the cc is in my game. Do you know what’s causing that problem?

@lenaxbena Is there any chance that some of the missing items are from packs, or bonus content, that you don't own? Also, is there any chance that the CC involved needs an update, or that it's currently broken?
As far as I know there should no longer be any need to activate MOO when placing items. I use MOO a bit when I build, and I no longer activate it to place the build on another lot to test it. I also don't use Mods or CC... and with this in mind, I have noticed a few things, but I'm not sure if they are relevant to what you're noticing in regards to your missing items:
- I have noticed that some items that are debug items will not remain, even though they will place in the lot for me from debug. For instance, there have been 'action' items that this happened with for me - as-in an item that is apparently used for the cooking animations.
- Currently I'm working on a build with several circular/round walls. I placed some desks and with chairs by the wall by the curve. When I placed the lot onto another lot the chairs to several of these desks placed near the curved wall deleted when I placed the lot. So... once I moved the chair/desk set further from the curved wall, they no longer deleted when the lot was placed. So... there are some temperamental or fidgety areas that I may or may not be fully aware of (examples, some small diagonal walls quirks & curved wall areas, under stairs, etc.)
- Sometimes someone adds a debug item that just causes issues by being on the lot that you may or may be able to track down. Sometimes this also involves a debug item that was enlarged or shrunk, but it's footprint (the area it effects) remained the same (or became crazy big). If someone else made the build, you may or may not know if this is the case, especially since occasionally items are 'there' but not visible (may be stuck in a foundation, wall, piece of furniture, or something similar.)
