@Vicky03210, they have already tried an online Sims game 17 years ago. It wasn't successful, and many who played it said it was very boring. 😞 It was called The Sims Online and ran from 2002 to 2008. While a big online version of the Sims might not be ideal, it might work on a smaller level, which is what I think is what you are talking about. With smaller groups it might work. 😉 And there is a rumor that The Sims 4 was originally supposed to be an online game, but that it didn't work out … therefore, if EA ever wanted to revisit this idea, it wouldn't be in The Sims 4 , but in another game, just as the Sims Online was not a part of the original The Sims, but a whole separate game. But with a lackluster first performance and a possible 2nd time failure, I don't expect this to happen. However....
