Mum of teen having separation anxiety?

So, I just got a dialog on the game where my teen's mum called to ask "When are you going to come visit?" (See MomCalling 1.png file) I originally got this from Discover University when my young adult first went to university and the parent calls to check on them. Funny that my teen got this while in high school and they live in the same household! (See MomCalling 2.png file)

Not really fussed that much about it but I'm not sure if this is a bug or glitch?
