- SnarkyWitch6 days agoSeasoned AceI am also having this problem. I removed my entire Mods folder and cleared my cache and my teen Sim still can't apply for the Athletics scholarship. She goes to the mailbox and fills out the application as if she's applied but if I click the mailbox again, the Athletics scholarship is still available to apply to and she never receives any mail informing her if she was accepted/rejected from that scholarship.
- Hi, I am having the same issue as OP. I removed my mods folder and deleted the local cache file (I had two and deleted both) however I'm still experiencing the issue
- @KtaytayK07 Try testing without mods/CC to find out if one of those is stopping him: Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.
