my sim wont use video station

My Sims wont allow me to use the video station, they act as though they cant reach it no matter where I place it, some features of the station work such as making a video but I am unable to upgrade it with maxed out handiness skill and cannot research trends. It is important to note that I am only using vampire sims and that all sims I have tested this out with are female, appreciate any assistance

If you have any mods move the mods folder to desktop. Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder and fix game in Origin. If you don't have mods fix the game also
.But there is one mod which will be spoil the options on Video station and there is no way to fix it. All video station which you will buy - will have with this bug .To overcome this problem, you need to enable "free build" options in the film company , make a small room there and save to library the video station what is there. When you put it in a sim house - it will work. As long as you use this mod - keep this video station in your library. It will always work

@kreatora currently experiencing this issue and I know it's the mod. What film company? Is that Plumbob Pictures?

If it is not a lack of a chair then it will be this mod. There is only one movie studio, available only while your sim is working there. This is why you need the free build code.
(Open up the cheat dialogue box by hitting ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard. Then type in testingcheats true and hit Enter to make sure that cheats are on. Then type in bb. Enablefreebuild and hit Enter.)

My sim won't use the video station at all. When I use the more choices station with a chair or the more views station that comes with a chair. My sim reacts by waving her hand and with an x on the video station bubble. I do not know how to fix this! I've tried everything. I repaired my game. I even installed the simulation timeline unglcogger by MTS. Nothing is working! and it's really annoying. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Do you use MOO to place the video station? Do you have enough space for your sim to reach the video station?

Still having this issue. Sim won't make tech reviews. Station has a chair, and I didn't use MOO. I removed my CC and repaired the game, still nothing. if anyone has a fix let me know.
