I've been playing the new event, and everything was going well. I haven't been able to play for the last couple weeks and now I can no longer claim my rewards because I'm "offline." When I go to connect, it's just an endless circle. I don't have any mods installed and I've repaired my game. This is extremely frustrating. Any advice?
I'm having exactly the same problem. I can't continue with the event until I claim the new dining table but am unable to claim it because the game thinks I'm offline. I also don't have any mods. It wasn't working when I first booted my game, updated to the newest version and it's still not working :(
Eeem24 This is the same for me. I’m on PS5 and from what I’ve been reading there are a lot of other posts so hopefully they see it and fix this. I’ve completed every single Sims event to date with no issues until now. I am losing my mind over not being able to finish and claim the outhouse and miss out on rewards - simply because the game is broken (that is its usual state, broken).
I am connected to PSN so its odd. Also, anytime I’m not connected the game doesn’t work because they have to verify I own the game using licensing servers and if it can’t do that, then the Sims won’t even stay open it - force closes. So that’s not the issue. Have you found anything that helps? I did rebuild my data base and even re-installed the game. Nothing helped, but if I’m missing something and you managed to fix it let me know. Glad to know I wasn’t going crazy and this is common I suppose.
I'm on Mac and while I played Sims 4 back in the day I've only recently started getting back into it. I don't have many saves but I care sooo much about them 😅 I haven't gone messing around with uninstalling and reinstalling or moving folders because I don't have the confidence that I won't break something right now. I'm also gutted I can't complete the quest right now because that outhouse is exactly the thing I'm missing for my perfect off-the-grid lot! Sad to hear that you're having the same problem.
I've noticed a looott of bugginess when I've been playing in the last few days since updating my game. I constantly have to reset my sims because they just get stuck and don't move and their actions queue keeps resetting itself. It's driving me crazy to play at the moment. I've never had these issues before so hopefully it's just some teething problems with the new pack release. 🤞
