Neighbors
I have The SIMS 4 base game. I was an avid SIMS 3 player and finally bought 4. How do I add neighbors and different places in the community? All my couple does is interact with each other and every now and again they chase down a person walking or jogging in the neighborhood. They have to go on dates in their house!😕
@SimsEuniq There are oodles of possibilities with Sims 4, and if you stick with it and explore them you will have a lot of fun!
Lot/home/venue-wise... I have several restaurants and a community park in my gallery (I'm working on a library, but got distracted by a new store I'm testing now 🙂 ), if that helps at all (search on Origin or the EA community gallery - same name, SheriGR I also have a bunch of money-making plants in the gallery and other things that may help you get some money, etc. The restaurants and park can be downloaded and placed in your town. Any of the homes, restaurants, venues, households, etc. in the gallery (mine or others') can be downloaded and placed into your towns in your game.
Social-wise... You can move households into your homes from the gallery or from your game's households. You can go into those households and play them to have them go to your sims' home and visit/get to know your sims, plus you can have your sims go visit other sims' homes and get to know them. (Use the car/plane icon and choose a home to visit that has residents or use your phone to travel to one of them.) Have your sim get a job. While at work they will meet other sims who will turn up in their phone and you can contact them and invite them over or to go to a restaurant or venue. You can socialize with others when going to a community venue, also.
Each of the towns includes some community venues (restaurants, gym, bar/lounge, park, etc.) along with the others that you can download place and use from the gallery, as mentioned. You can also replace homes, households, venues, etc. You can even click the little people icon on top of your sim when at work and choose for them to socialize at work. Some of the expansions add more social and other interactions that really enhance social interactions and possibilities, also.
Expansions will enhance social possibilities and gameplay immensely.
