New pc

Hello! I love playing the sims 3 & 4 and im intrested in buying a new computer. I have an early 2015 MacBook Pro and Im not even able to Open the sims 3 anymore since it just says unknown error occurred. It doesnt really hold up my expectacions and it doesnt run the game smoothly at all. I was looking into a Lenovo Legion y520. Im not sure if i want a laptop or a desktop but im posting this in case someone had that computer or if they have any other tips. My budget is around 1100 dollars but if neccesary i can stretch a bit. For that budget i Want to get sscreen and keyboard too. It should be able to run smoothly with sims 3&4 plus all expansions, extra content, some cc and some mods. I live in sweden.

    Look for specs like these:

    High end

    CPU = Intel I5/I7 generation 7 or better AMD Ryzen 8 or better
    RAM = 8GB DDR4 or more
    HDD = 250GB SSD with secondary HDD for storage.
    Graphics = Geforce 1060 6GB or equivalent AMD card

    Budget

    CPU = Intel I5/I7 generation 5 or better I3 generation 8 AMD Ryzen 5 or better
    RAM = 8GB DDR4
    HDD = 1TB Hybrid drive
    Graphics = Geforce 1050 or Geforce 1060 3GB or equivalent AMD card
