Odd cat behaviour

I'm unsure of whether this is a bug or technical issue but lately whenever my cat jumps onto the robot vacuum it does this scared animation but without any accompanying chance to ask what's wrong or change in his mood it's not really a big issue but a tad annoying cause I'm a little protective of my sim pets so any time I hear the sound he makes when scared I pause and check on him and 9/10 times it's because he has jumped on the robot vacuum the other 1/10 funnily enough is because he's took a ride on the vacuum through the bathroom door that's locked for him and he's got scared because he's afraid of the shower and someone's currently using it.

So I have an update on this my sims moved house today and and one of the first things that happened was the robot vacuum broke and now his cat is displaying the fear bubble for the vacuum it's just odd that prior to moving him out of the previous lot in brindleton and into the new lot in windenburg his cat never displayed the fear bubble and was still riding the vacuum, I'm gonna keep an eye out and see if he still rides on the robot vacuum in the new lot or whether I'll be selling them or I'll possibly stick them into a room he cant enter of hes still ok when the robot vacuum is in the middle of cleaning.
ETA: so I've played a bit more and it seems the only time the cat is afraid of the robot vacuum in the new house is when it needs repaired at all other times he has an obsession with it o.O so I've went ahead and just made it unbreakable.

@greymon09 Does your pet have a fear of the vacuum but still rides it? That would be terrible.

Does this happen every time you load the game or is it just something you observed this one play?

As far as I can tell he has an obsession with it cause I've only ever seen it use the positive thought bubble where the robot vacuum appears in the thought bubble by itself whereas when either the shower, the microwave or the sprinklers is used he get the thought bubble with the icon crossed out without the red stop sign circle thingy so as far as I can tell he doesn't have a fear of it, also as to whether it everytime I'm playing it seems to be most of happen most of the time though I've noticed that if I manage to turn the robo-vac on just after he hops on he's perfectly fine, I've also decided to just move it to one of the rooms he's not allowed to enter cause he doesn't seem to have any issues when he hops on while it's already in the middle of it cleaning routine so I found a solution, but I'm still unsure what was causing him to do it in the first place.

@greymon09 I have not heard this reported as a bug, and I don't think it is a technical issue with your console. May just be a random glitch with the interaction. If it happens in a new household or save you may want to report it as a bug in the bug forum.

In the meantime I am going to move this post to the general chat forum. Perhaps another user has seen this behavior, if so you can also decide to report it as a bug.
