[OR] Crash when sending Sim on vacation lot/Lot occupied by other family

I keep having a failure to launch every time I try to send my sims family on vacation to Granite Falls lots. I have repaired the app and deleted the cache folder over and over but it is still giving me that message. Also every time I visit Granite Falls another family is already occupying the lot as well. I have tried this with other saved files and it is giving me the same message and other families are occupying the rentals.

    Could you please provide the content of the file ? You can't upload it here so either copy/paste the content or upload to a third party site and link.

    So yes it created a LastException file and it is still triggering the error.

    The fail to launch was the error code that kept popping up and I never really had any issues with my game up until  today. I am still working on doing some of the tips you mentioned. Thanks for your response.

    Hi LMP982​ 

    Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    • Delete the ones you have
    • Trigger the error again
    • Check if new ones are created
    • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting. 

    Do you have the issue on a new save as well or just a specific one ? Do people live on the vacation lots or are just others on vacation there ?

    The failed to launch is a bit of a generic message.
