I only added Eco Living 10 months ago, but patching way back before it's release caused havoc in my game just as an example.
As another example, recently a pair of DHD pants were fixed as they were glitchy...but the pack itself is still fundamentally broken.
welp obviously the easier bugs will be more easily fixed. Sometimes I wonder if they have some sort of a quota for a patch for the number of bugs it should address and that's why we see those bug fixes like "oh no , one string in a build/buy object description in Swedish was messed up but now it's fixed yayyy" and it looks like they are fixing things. I mean, those need to be fixed too but I can wait for a year or two for these wrong CAS tag corrections and what have you but not for the big, game breaking issues that possibly render useless a big feature in an expansion/game pack. (Get together came out how long ago now and the barista stations are still buggy!) I'm running out of patience for them not fixing big bugs in DLC that we all spent big bucks to play! I'm not buying any more content before they show up with some big fixes and I hope other players would do so too. I'm interested in the Bust the dust kit for its added gameplay but I Refuse to buy it until it gets fixed! Just dangit EA hire more people to fix bugs !

I got the dust the bust kit and if you add a few mods its playable. One mod to supress the sparkling in clean rooms, another to supress the useless positive buffs from clean rooms and another for faster vacuum'ing and its fine. Just need something to prevent the smelling the clean rooms. Cant fathom why that mechanic exists in the first place.
Sure, we shouldnt need mods. Not every mechanic needs a moodlet or action attached. Yet we get more and more and it creates more problems.

The petition is over 14,000 signatures now!
- siirysiir3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Zasz_Zerg yep, we shouldn't need mods. Also thanks for the heads up, I don't think I want the kit anymore after hearing this. :D
And anyways I'd rather see bugs fixed from bigger packs first, especially expansion packs. Starting from Get together thank you very much! 🌚- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@siirysiir Console players can't use mods so I agree with you.
I'm honestly wishing I hadn't switched back to Console after playing some Sims games on PC. I think I switched about 10 years ago to solely Console. If I liked the ideas better for Sims 5 (I know it's just speculation so far but some have come from the creative team) I'd probably switch back to PC although it's logistically a bit more tricky with my disability and RSI.
I see players saying thank goodness for mods and I wish we had them. With our graphics and crashing problems on top of game bugs it's a really frustrating time to be a console player with 50 odd packs.
