Pleeeeeeease bring us bands!

There is SO much gameplay that could be cross-pack with a bands SP!! High School Years can add in a band or orchestra club. University students could take music as a major and have an on-campus battle of the bands contest event with a special trophy that can be won. Growing Together can have a Have a Family Band aspiration added along with a music ability skill that can be learned starting with toddlers on up interacting with toys and adults or elders being able to mentor youth to teach the skill. Get to work could add a band manager career. City Living could add a music studio lot and lot trait. Eco Lifestyle could add home-made instruments from recycled items. Cottage Living could add a country music festival. Get Together could add an amphitheater or concert venue where you can buy tickets and bands can perform there for money. Island Living could add a reggae festival that gives "dazed and happy" buff and unique t-shirt and other memorabilia. Get Famous could add the K-Pop Idol career (which also fits with pastel pop kit), Rock God celebrity status, obsessed fan trait, and a VIP table where you can meet the band for photo opts and autographs. I mean come-on ... EA could sell the hell out of this no matter what other packs players have purchased.

    Great ideas!

    We've asked for more music activities and options for a while so here's hoping that happens.

    The Musician career isn't quite what it could be, it's too many different genres packed into one career and it's not totally realistic to see massive stars busking at the Flea market and receiving guffaws of laughter from shoppers.

    The closest I've got to a musical Sim with fans cheering and a party atmosphere is with the DJ skill. I made a little recording studio for her and she's signed to a label but the music all sounds the same after a while.

    If she wants to sing in public she uses the karaoke machine. It would be so much better if there were musicians all playing and singing together.

    I don't think it will be as fun as you think as it would have to be a rabbit hole career and there we already have the entertainer career. You probably envision a stage with the band members playing each their instrument and a singer but that would require that you could control all of the band members at once and that is impossible in the Sims 4 and I doubt that it will be possible in the Sims 5.

    You wouldn't need to necessarily control all the Sims for bands to work. We already have form a group options in the game. So a group interaction could be based around gathering band members together for performances. Similar to the function already in game for club meetings.
