Police Station Bug
I got Get to Work a few weeks ago, and the first time I went to the police station, everything looked and worked well. Then, the next time I went, the bulletin board was jumbo-sized and blocking the entire room so my Sim couldn't enter. I did some Googling for fixes and found the "shift click" and "debug" strategy. After I tried that, instead of fixing the bulletin board, it created a second jumbo bulletin board. This room and these computers are now inaccessible (let alone frustrating to look at). It's been like this for over a week, and applies to all of the Sims who go to the police station, not just one character. I've attached a screenshot for reference.
Does anyone have a solution I could try? Thanks so much!
@jpellowe Did you manage to get rid of your cork boards? If not, try this one:
① Go to work and enter the police station
② Enable debug mode by pressing ctrl + shift + c and typing in "TestingCheats on"
③ Next, type in "bb.enablefreebuild" in order to unlock hidden build mode
④ You should now be able to go into build mode and delete the giant cork boards
Keep in mind that using cheats may mess up your game at any time so make sure you keep backups of your "saves", "Tray" and "Screenshots" folders. Saving the current status of your police station onto your Library (Gallery) might be also a good idea.
