@MickRonson At the end of May when they did that gallery update it wasn't a fix for us for the gallery it was a back end fix for EA so they could pump out updates and game packs faster. It failed horribly and really messed our gallery right the heck up. It has caused more continuing glitches than it has ever had in the past. Still all people in my friends list have been given Anonymous as their names. I can now see number of friends I have now so I take it that glitch of 8 to 10 people you can follow is fixed. I can see the number of people following me beside that and it went down a bunch after May 30th but is slowly going up again. When you go into friends tab the following number isn't there at first, you have to wait for it like it is calculating? I'm getting more followers again because I am showing my creations on different forums such as X twitter.
I think the big problem is that at the end of May there were many bullies in the gallery that were picking on some creators calling them names and trying to make them look like they were of poor character and used the news feed to do this making post of sims and saying horrible things about each individual. Some of the people being bullied quit the game for periods of time because of it. 51 victims last count I saw. I wouldn't have known about this at all but they started telling me in my posts that certain supporters in my comments were cheaters. I wasn't pleased about this or the fact that bullying was going on in our game. I stood up for the people being bullied because everything I was told was proof was just speculation. It was like a witch hunt. I guess no one has learned from history because it was ongoing and more and more people joined in on the bullying I think because they were afraid they might be looked at next. It was crazy! I couldn't believe how may joined in like what is really the worst the bullies could do? They don't live next door and are not going to beat you up and as far as saying bad things LOL I don't mind that cause they don't matter. I was in to play a game not get caught up in the bologna they involved me in.
If you notice you can't look far down in your comments because it gets scrambled, also in peoples posts if you check to see what others thought of the post you can't go far it scrambles. I think this also might be an effort to stop bullying. In my profile these people tried to make me look bad for sticking up for the ones they called cheaters and I answered them. They didn't come out of it well and blocked me immediately. LOL Those posts are still there but you can't see them now cause they get scrambled. So when the gallery update happened I think the news feed was taken out to stop the bullying so we all got punished for their actions. These bullies involved me I didn't look for it. I still don't understand why they saw no repercussions for what they did. Instead we all got punished and have no news feed.
EA I'm not trying to be a troll, bait or flame. I am not deliberately trying to cause an argument by making sarcastic, off-topic, rude or disruptive posts, and discussions. I'm keeping it on-topic and not changing the topic of the thread which is gallery problems and why don't we have a news feed and I think what I said is relevant.
