- Is it not going to show me that it's already downloaded?
No you can download it a few times. I've download it 4 or 5 times now. You can even run it on two different devices. Just not at the same time.
- That seems perfect! Am I able to download expansions also? I have two or three.
Of course!
Those are a little harder to find, but you can find them with these steps:
- Go to 'Game Library' in Origin
- Right click 'The Sims 4' and choose 'Game Details
A overlay moves in
- Have a look under the 'Extra Content' tab
There should all your Game Pack, Stuff packs and expansions packs show up.- Thank you so much! ❤️
No problem!

Make sure that you do not have any filters on in your library. If the game still does not show up, the most common issue is that you've been logged into the wrong account. Try logging in using different email addresses, or reset your password to all your addresses and see which ones get an answer.
If you still cannot find it, you need to contact an EA game advisor.
Go here to contact EA support: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/
- In the upper right corner, choose your region. If you can't find it, choose US or UK.
- Choose a game. If you need help with an account issue, choose Origin
- Choose your platform
- Choose topic and issue to give EA details.
- Click Select contact option, and hopefully you get in touch with someone fast!
Here are some tips on how to do it if it's complicated!

This was really helpful, thanks, What about custom content? How do you access that on the new computer? Do I need to save to a memory stick and transfer across? Thanks
Yes, copy everything onto a memory stick and take it to your new computer.
What I have done in the past is copy my whole Sims 4 folder to my usb key (memory stick) and take it to my other computer and copy just the files and folder I want into the new Sims 4 folder on my other computer. For example:
- Options.ini (User game settings)
- Tray Folder (Sims/Houses/Commercial lots and rooms)
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games, if any.
(leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave. It is not used anymore.)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, makeup
- Mods (Put these back one by one to make sure they all still work)Please note some mods and custom content become outdated with every game patch released. This means you'll need to go through your mods folder to find what needs to be replaced.
