Re: My paintings keep showing up as CC, how do I get rid of that?

Hi @EmmaKuiper64 !  I guess I'm a bit late as well.  I think this video by mysimsdreamhouse can help; https://youtu.be/n37Y6zVB5ok

I found it on this thread from the Sims Forum.  Tutorial: Creating NOCC-Paintings for the Gallery — The Sims Forums

Wow there are a lot of steps!  Anyway, I did a bit of digging and found this thread along with a few other posts suggesting basically the same thing.  I'm not a creator so I don't fully understand it but from what I gather, you can upload your creations as CC then have sims paint them.  There are a bunch of save steps and tips, including the use of the 32 bit legacy game which sidesteps a patch from around April 2020.  I was not able to find another method for keeping your paintings as No CC.  There were a few other videos but I did not watch them all.  Like I said, I'm not a creator so I have not tried any of this myself.  If you do decide to try it, I really hope it works for you!

I could always make paintings, but they changed that. I downloaded Legacy Edition but don't want to, miss maps in game.
You could download them for free, but it is of no use.  So those videos don't help me

@EmmaKuiper64 Ah, got it!  Sorry there's no non-CC option for you then.  I have a feeling EA / Maxis implemented that because they have no control over what players include in their creations.  I have no idea how the workaround in those tutorials bypasses the rules they have in place.  It would be nice if non-EA creators had a process to get their creations approved for the game so they're not considered CC.
