Re: NO sims can sleep together at all.. not even married sims

@Dalouuu288 Well, I'm finding with the married couple I've played with for years it's now more challenging to keep their relationship in good shape and to keep normal romance options (like WooHoo - it's just not an option on the bed or anywhere if they're not in good enough shape for it romantically). I'm not sure how much of this is in the base game vs. the new Lovestruck pack, as I have all packs, but perhaps others will chime in with that type of detail. Do you have Lovestruck? There are changes listed (base game changes & Lovestruck changes) in the notes at this link: https://www.ea.com/en/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/update-7-23-2024

Firstly, open them in CAS. Check that their romantic attractions, likes and dislikes, etc. are compatible and work well together. For the couple I've played for years, very compatible, I had to check and tweak some of this, then I had to have them do interactions with each other where they discuss their interests, attractions, etc. It was as if there were ways in which they were unacquainted with each other with, despite all of their history. Have them do things together, share their interests/likes, etc... relate well together and enjoy each other. Treat them somewhat like they need to get to know each other.

Also, pursue all of the normal options to build up their relationship (green bar) to 100%. Also work to get the romance/pink bar to as close to 100% as you can. Maybe have them take a few vacation days to work on this.

If this doesn't fix it in your current home, you could save a copy of your couple into your game library, then place them into a new game save and see if the issue remains there.

If none of this helps, it may be your Mods/CC. To confirm this, please test as follows (directions in spoiler tag):

Spoiler
Exit the game. Move the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can test without saving. If the issue is gone without any of the Mods/CC and the cache file, then re-add the Mods/CC a little at a time until you find which is causing the issue.
