Re: [S] Chain reaction

@SheriGR

They died of cold while witnessing a death. The more deaths the longer they would be standing there freezing and if they are not changed into winter clothes. Well you see the result.

    In other words they died of stupidity because of that ridiculous thing where they won't automatically change into their cold or hot weather clothes when needed... even to save their lives (the "________ is freezing to death" or "________ is boiling to death" thing.) Wow. 🤨

    I first saw something like this when Vampires came out. Vampires on fire in the sun. Made quite a bonfire with 2 on fire as they were walking in as patients at the Hospital. One of them made it inside the other died just outside making all go out to witness Death including the one that got inside in time and if my workday hadn't ended at that time he probably would have burned to death as well.

    @jpkarlsen I can roll with a certain amount of the sims chaos. Pretty much. Probably not as well as you and @PugLove888 do, from the sounds of it. At least I've never had a primal scream at the sims like I have when dealing with my old laptop. (It used to have a meltdown regularly - oftentimes they type you have to do a factory reset.) Wasn't a good fit for my workload (side job - photo editing can be even more taxing than sims) or my main job, web design - with which you kinda need a computer that doesn't keep crashing to the point you need to revert to a factory reset then spend a couple of days getting all of the settings and software back to where you need them. Yup, no fun. Learned to keep almost everything on a backed-up external drive(s). The hard way. My son has the laptop now and loves it. Don't think he's crashed it once. But he doesn't load and tax a computer to the hilt like his mom! 😉 😃

    I don't scream at computers I fix them (my job) but I have cursed a game or two for doing stupid things. There was the issue with Toddlers "Welcome wagon" before Vampires it didn't matter much that papa or mama sim stood by the road waiting for their Toddler to make it down a couple stairs and out to the road to greet them. But then came Vampires. I lost one to flames before I noticed the problem. I was not amused and lost a couple of hours playtime because I had to reload. It didn't help that I had a very sad Toddler from witnessing death. I think they fixed that however as I have not seen it in my recent game. Still keeps my eye out for Vampires returning from work though.
