Does he seem to be stuck? My neighbor got on a table once and stood on it for hours until I deleted the table and reset him. Activate testingcheats true, and shift-click the neighbor to reset him, and he might leave.
Otherwise you can load him family instead of yours for a few minutes and just control him and make him leave! 🙂
