Re: Sims 4 purchase confusion

@GiorgioFrankens  You can buy a standalone copy of Sims 4 without paying for a subscription, and the discount applies to the game itself.  If you go here:

and click Get the Game, you'll see a couple of banners for EA Play.  Below that, there's a button that says Buy Now right below "Not interested in joining today?"  Click the Buy Now button and you'll be able to choose the edition of Sims 4 you want, no subscription involved.  Even though the Digital Deluxe edition says "included with EA Play," you don't need to buy anything else and won't be signing up for EA Play if you do buy the game.

By the way, the Digital Deluxe comes with just a few extra items which normally wouldn't be worth the extra money.  But for the sale price, it's more reasonable.
