- @gooochyeee Thanks for the help! I'm about to enter the game and perform these steps.

- @gooochyeee At the moment, I only don't understand minor things. For example, my young adult married sims have not been woohooing for a while, sometimes when this option appears and I click on it, they don't do it either. Furthermore, why is the wedding not available after the engagement (why is only elopement possible)? When organizing the wedding, there is a lock icon when selecting the engaged couple.

@laserline80Can I see a picture of the bed(room) so I can see why they wont woohoo? Im not enitrely sure about the wedding bit
- @gooochyeee I'll send the photo in a few hours, but it didn't work now because it's too big, I have to make it smaller or make a smaller one.
I am attaching the picture.
- gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 So for the sims to sleep they can scoot but unfortuently for woohoo they arent scoot over so in order to be able to woohoo you need to move it away form the bed or use the basegame hot tub as your sims can woohoo there
- @gooochyeee The hot tub worked. Thanks for the idea!
- @gooochyeee ...and moving the bed also worked
- gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 So glad both of the ideas worked!
- @gooochyeee A sim's life goal is to influence the lives of 20 other sims with advice. Other than incoming phone calls, how can I do this? I asked them about their careers, they said they were unemployed. There used to be an option to tell them to work, but for some reason I can't find that option in any of the categories right now. I asked them to join another sim. Does this also count as influence?
- @gooochyeee One more question. One of the conditions for a successful bloodline life goal is that one of your children or grandchildren reaches the peak of their career. Can this be achieved with a part-time job, or can it only be achieved with a full-time job?
- BylineBelife3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 It need to be a full-time job, and even a few of those are bugged. Save often, and certainly before you're about to peak in your career.
- @BylineBelife Which 3 careers do you recommend, if the salary is not important, but the advancement as soon as possible and the least working hours?
- BylineBelife3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 My favourite career for new sims i the Culinary career. It advances really fast if you don't take the Mixologist branch when it splits. You also earn som good money and rewards. Some preferer the Military career, but too much workout for my taste. LOL
- gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 Yeah the culinary one advances quick. Dont do the entertainer/comdeian careeras your sims work like twice a weak and it’s hard to get up in the career
- @BylineBelife Do you mean the first time your sim takes on a food job? And which careers are bugged?
- @gooochyeee I understand. I won't do those. The sim's daughter needs 1 career in which she reaches maximum advancement, and her granddaughter needs 3 careers in which she reaches level 3 (renaissance sim).
- BylineBelife3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 Whenever I start a new hood and move in a new sim intended for playing, I way too often chose the Culinary career, because it gives my sim a really god and solid start. I don't like to use cheats, other than for needs and occasionally to get a some cool new digs.
All base-game careers are pretty much stable and safe. More recent additions, not so much. Especially the ones we got with Get to Work and the Freelance careers are fun, but often a big hit or miss. - gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@laserline80The bugged ones are mostly form new paid content where they forgot to add them like the salary person (snowy escape) and the Univeristy ones (law, engernier education) alll the basegame ones are fine (the active and feeelance careers are also pretty likely to not work)
- @BylineBelife I only have the base game because it's free.
- @gooochyeee I prefer passive jobs. I started the game on June 23rd, but I'm already at generation 4 because I have quite a lot of free time. I'm going to change the neighbor influencing life goal to something easier.
- gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 As long as you dont use the freelance career, you will be good then
- gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace@laserline80 Fair, but if you wish there is a cheat to do it and if you want I can tell you
I used the cas.fulleditmode cheat because my teenage girl sim had a male voice. I think that I will do the culinary career first, then the painter and the tech guru career (although the latter two has several sectors).
