@JolienAnnI'm not sure if this is true but: did a super small amount of research just now and on a sim community info site it says that "Sims that you are not controlling may decide to get married, get divorced, have kids or work towards career promotions without you having to play the household!" I know this doesn't really help on how to do it, but it does say it's possible?
