Restaurant expansion pack

@Ksmith1124 Just in case this is what you mean, I thought I would mention that if the restaurant is placed, and is designated as a restaurant in 'Lot Type', the game will spawn employees and run the restaurant if it's unowned. If the lot is designated a residence, and if you have selected in game options to 'auto-fill homes' the game may move a family into the lot.

1. Please make sure the restaurant is designated as a restaurant, not a residence, in 'Lot Type'. Please also make sure it has all of its required elements. Save.
   
2. Go to the World Map View and hover over the lot. If it shows a family as living there, evict them. Save.
   
3. Now have your Sim travel to the lot and purchase it. Save.
