ROM: Copypasto spell should not work on potions!

I do a lot of potion brewing despite this, especially Potion of Rejuvenation. Save those satisfaction points for my low-level casters endlessly cursing themselves at the cauldron!  😉

(Also, you can Repario your poor quality potions.)

I mean, I get what you're saying. Carl from Carl's Guides had the same objection, that it makes things too easy.

My copypasto meh recently was that I tried to copypasto an item from a public lot. It worked, in that there was a copy of the item (a collectable that I needed for collections) in my inventory, but it didn't, in that that didn't count for "collecting" the item and the copypastoed item didn't "belong" to my Sim despite it being in her inventory.  I mean, we could have just burgliated the item but that's uncouth and destructive! but then the item would have probably "belonged" to her.  :P

I guess, come to think of it, that we could copypasto the item, burgliate it, and then put one of the copies back? Hmf.

I feel like you could fix this by simply choosing not to copypasto stuff? Instead of trying to make it so nobody else can copypasto their potions? Because my sims have more important things to do with their lives than either sleep or slave over a cauldron all day, and I like copypasto potions.

I used copypasto for my Wiccan (hope I spelled that right) to set up her gift shop full of her flower arrangements and home made produce and remedies and knitting.

Didn't realise that when staff restock the shelves, anything produced with copypasto can't be restocked. Instead you get a pile of ash.

Visiting as a customer I wondered why the shelves in my lovely Strangerville shop were covered in ash piles with customers complaining.

Hello!  You have a good point.  However, I have to agree with @MamaSimmerPlays.  I like that spellcasters have the option to copy potions.  Also, as @simsplayer818 noted, there are consequences for it. :-)
