scenario calendar glitc

I'm currently playing the Parenting Predicaments Scenario with the Martínez family. The game just finished celebrating New Year's, and then I got the pop-up notification that Winterfest is tomorrow. I've included a picture of the calendar showing New Year's, Winterfest, and Love Day happening in one week, not in our order. Is this normal? I've never played scenarios before.
