I keep having the script call failed error whenever I try to place an apartment lot. I haven't try with a house or anything. But I have no mods, I reinstalled the game and still it's not working. I tried repairing, I tried without using bb.moveobjects but can't seem to find the issue. As it is with nothing else installed on a totally untouched newly installed game I'm not sure what the problem is.

Yeah this is with a completely clean game. That’s why I am confused as to what the issue is. I know for sure I did it correctly because it prompted for the tutorial first and everything.
I'm having the same problem. I really need some help. I did everything that was stated, checked the Gameversion.txt, moved the EA folder to the desktop & that created a brand new folder, reinstalled sims, reinstalled origin. I have gotten nowhere.
Tried the super repair, no luck. Tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling both origin and the game but still am having the issue. Maybe a bug with the newest update? Not sure how I'm supposed to proceed from here though. I've never had an unfixable issue like this before. Thank you for your help.
No penthouses, just trying to place from the gallery. I have the lot entirely bulldozed but still get the error. I've tried on a couple of different buildings with no luck.
