sim age days stuck

Sims 4 age up days stuck hey guys when i start playing sims i wanted to make a family i met a girl and after some time i did mariage i made a baby after time baby grow up in todler and my sim (man) almost go from young adult to adult but female sim is still stuck at 21 days (please help me to resolve this)

    Who is the Sim that is "stuck" / not aging?  There are Sims in the game that were created to never age.
    Alex Moyer (base game) is one I know for sure. These Sims can be aged up using birthday cake but will never die of old age.

    Who is the Sim that is "stuck" / not aging?  There are Sims in the game that were created to never age.

    As another example, vampires don't age once they hit young adult stage, either. 

    I second the suggestion made by @EuphorialQueen .  You can make a cake in your kitchen, then choose to add birthday candles.  Only have the Sim you want to age up interact with the birthday cake after you put on the candles and until after the age up happens, or you'll age up the wrong person!  After someone ages up, then everyone can safely eat the cake. (:

    Edit: Also, be sure you place the birthday cake in the *center* of a counter or table.  If it is in a side or skewed position, Sims get confused and don't interact with the cake.
