Sim Status Bar is missing?

I cant see my sim on the sim status bar. It's been like that for over 2 days. I was playing royalty & legacy and I tried to look at my sims family history (Its a new sims-they have no family history) but after she finished looking in the family tree dark history book or whatever, the game took away part of the status bar. I restarted and shut down my pc and tried exiting the game multiple times and even travelling to a different location to see if it resets and no luck.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
    • Any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.

    no. i tried to play but its impossible. the game crashes and wont even let me close it out. I have to keep shutting down my computer in order to stop the game completely. I tried managing the game through EA game options and "repairing" the game but no luck.

    Does a new save work ?

    Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

    it looks like if i start a new game, it works normally

    Something might have corrupted the save. If you want to see if it can be reverted. feel free to send me your save but I can't geraunte that I find a fix.
