Sim won’t actually change to dark form

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’m not sure.
What happens when the bug occurs? When clicking on my vampire sim and selecting show dark form, the animation occurs but she is still in human form.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my sim change to her dark form. Her dark form skin details & outfits exist in CAS and are NOT linked to her human form.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have updated all of my mods and latest version of The Sims as of Oct 18, 2024. Dark form was previously working with the same mods installed, so I’m not sure what caused this to start happening.
i found a thread on this website with the same issue but no solutions were provided. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, what did you do to resolve?
