Sim won't walk up stairs despite no visually obvious obstructions?

Game version: 1.126.78.1020
My game is modded.

I haven't played the sims for a few months, and this build is old, so I'm confused why my staircase suddenly no longer works. After updating, my sim treats this staircase as unusable, which wasn't the case previously. I don't know what the issue is. I tested the staircase seperately with a floating platform and said staircase (with nothing else) and it worked fine then, so i know the staircase itself is fine.

    NightmareGlazer​  A few things you can try.  These are individual things you can do and there is no specific order to try things.  If none of these things work to fix the problem then come back and we can go from there.

    1. Delete the localthumbcache file before starting the game.
    2. Delete the stair, save the game, reload.  Replace the stair.
    3.  Save the lot to your Library, bulldoze the lot (don't forget to grab anything in containers and grab all the collectibles and place them in a sim or household inventory first.  Then replace the original lot with the copy from the Library.
    4. Do a repair.
    5. Try a user folder reset following the directions found in this post:  📓[GUIDE] Clean User Folder Approach | EA Forums - 12690428.
