@SimmeringPassion , as a person who loves pets and the Cats & Dogs EP, I would love this in the game! And it wasn't just Pet Stories that had things like that for your pets to do, as the regular Sims 2 allowed pets to have pet jobs! (So funny when the carpool arrived for them!🤣 )
However, I do think things like at-home challenges your pets can do while your human Sims are at work or school would work better if we could play as the dog or cat like we could in The Sims 3! It is a too bad that we can't play as our pets. There might be a way for them to do this without us being able to play as the pets, but it would limit what missions our pets could accomplish!
It does give me hope since they refreshed the Spa Day SP that maybe they are planning on refreshing some of the older packs. 🤞
I have a friend whose cats and dog would work together to get into mischief! 😈 They had the proof on film! 🤣
How do you think about cat and dog become to human as furry? Is it interesting? My friend from Thailand like so much and I like same.

- @Bas25197 That's a cool drawing and it might become a part of the game one day, it is a refreshing idea and also you would be able to maybe from the realm of magic pack give them a potion that would make your pet all the way to a sim, half way (furry mode) to a sim or it wouldn't work at all, it would be so interesting because we have the furry suits such as the bear, raccoon, (erm I can't think of the others so if anyone else has then lemme know! hahaha) so it would be so cool to make your sims furry!
I mean in island living we have mermaids so I can't see why furries wouldn't be an idea in mind! Hopefully EA / MAXIS sees our post ideas! 😉
- @PugLove888 OMFG I TOTALLY REMEMBER THAT IN THE SIMS 2 PETS TOO! YOU COMPLETELY JOGGED MY MEMORY!!!! I loved it when that carpool would arrive because it made the pets feel important too, I loved it when you could control your pet so much because if you ever got bored of normal adult simming stuff you could go into pet mischief and it was always so fun!!!!
I always loved controlling a horse in the sims 3 and I would love it when it would gallop everywhere as they always looked so elegant and magestic! I loved the relationship you as a player could have with the pets as you control them too!@SimmeringPassion , I have not seen Mr. Bubbs so I will have to look for him!
I'm glad I was able to take you down memory lane! 😄 The Sims 2 is my favorite Sims game and the pet carpool just makes me giggle! 😂 And the things I loved most about The Sims 3 were the ability to choose your colors and patterns with CASt (Create A STyle) and the ability to play as your pets! I really enjoyed that! I would love to have controllable pets and pet jobs again, or the missions you described! 🥳
Yes, some dogs and cats are best friends! The 2 cats and one dog I told you about ... well the cats love to swat the dog's tail when it wags, and the dog loves to wag his tail and loves attention, and I told my friend that I think he sometimes wags it just to entertain the cats and get attention from them! 🤣 She agreed!- @PugLove888 Totally is a video that never gets old!
I loved all the sims 2 games too!! I love the fact that you said one thing and it’s taken me down this whole awakening of all the sims 2 games I’ve played and I’m very grateful for you reminding me! 😆😁
The carpool would make me laugh too the way they jumped in too! The sims 3 Create a style is something defo missing from the sims 4 and something i thought was a no brainer to have in there but I’m guessing that they are probably saving it for the sims 5 so that it feels refreshed as a feature!
The dog is probably doing it for the attention! I mean who wouldn’t, it’s two cute cats!
- @PugLove888 Hopefully they do refresh it! and we all believe that cats and dogs hate each other but that's what they will have you believe! Hahahhaha
- @PugLove888 Lucky they caught it on camera cause that's when they act like they haven't done anything, Like Mr.Bubbs, if you haven't seen that video I HIGHLY recommend it, I love the video and it goes so well with our convo topic
