sims 4 disk with cats and dogs pack included

i bought a sims 4 disk which has the card and dogs expansion pack included, but when i’ve gone to play the game nothings coming up for it and nothing says that i have the pack too? should i just take the disk back or is there anything i have to do for sims

@megxn2364 If this is a new copy of Sims 4, then you should contact the retailer. If it's used, then you're unfortunately out of luck. EA doesn't support selling or sharing copies of Sims 4 and won't help with a missing or unusable code when the content has been resold.

@megxn2364 Do you have a product code for Cats & Dogs? If so, register it in the EA App and you should be able to download the pack from there. You should also be able to play without the disc.

we weren’t given the activation code in the box with the disk, which we’ve now figured out we’d need in order to add the expansion pack
