I like your ideas a lot! I love the idea of new farm animals because it hasn't been done yet. You can branch out even more with horses and go the Sims 3 route and have them learn tricks/jumps (like the dogs/cats have in Sims 4). Best in show or a contest type for dogs/cats/pigs :D and also a harvest fest with biggest crop competitions too would be cool (going back to Sims 1 for ribbons) and using the new Seasons expansion for fall festivities and crops. Using milk from goats/cows for recipes, even going further and using wool for clothing (possibly cotton that was harvested) and have that be a skill/hobby as well. Good ideas!
