Sims 4 'For Rent' Gameplay Not Working

I don't use any Mods and the For Rent gameplay is not working. None of the new aspirations will work for me. When I complete a task such as 'invite the property owner to your unit' it doesn't not complete and when I am a property owner and I need to 'complete a maintenance event' I will fix everything and it still doesn't complete. Is anyone else having the same troubles? I have already installed the game and reinstalled, I have cleared the cache on origin and reset origin. I have contacted EA twice and no-one seems to know how to help.

    @leewhitthread You're not the only one who finds those tasks don't consistently complete. You'll find separate bug reports for these in Bug Reports . The more detail you can post there about the sequence of steps that's not completing the task, the better, because some sequences do complete them.
