Sims 4: Hearing start up music, but stuck on loading screen

Question

Hi, friends. I recently got a new laptop (Macbook Air, screenshot of info attached) and am trying to play the Sims 4 with my saves from my previous Macbook. When it loads, I can hear the start up music, but it keeps loading with the green diamond. I have&nbsp;moved my saves to the documents--&gt; electronic arts--&gt; Sims 4 folder, gone through all the troubleshooting steps listed in these forums, yet it seems like nothing is working. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

@Rosybunny1  Are you using resume or load to load your save game ?If you try load, can you get to the map or get endless loading before that ?

Hi!I was using resume to load, but then just tried load and could get to my map but still got endless loading when I tried to click on a household.
